You need no account with us to follow the log. Each entry's full text goes out through three feeds, with its media linked rather than enclosed, so a reader can take the text without opening the page: RSS at /feed.xml, Atom at /atom.xml and JSON Feed at /feed.json. Entries carry a calendar date or date range and no clock time; the feeds stamp each one at noon UTC on its date, the first day of a range, a synthetic time and not an observed one.

Each post carries its own share links on the web page, ordinary outbound links with no third-party script, for passing an entry on to whoever should see it.
The pages are static files with scripts of their own only, the menu and the opening chart, and nothing fetched from a third party. This HTML sets no cookies and loads no analytics; for a short read, every page has a plain-text twin. The server sees your request, as any server does, and answers it with a file.
